Sat 13th March - Kent - Rye

Postby greenwood03 » Sun Mar 07, 2010 6:38 pm

Seems my missus is daring me not to do anything for Mothers Day......now i've got caught up in those sorts of 'dares' before and the ending wasn't pleasant. So, seems i may have to create a window on Saturday to have a run out and play.
I've no fixed ideas yet, and still need to check what sort of timing would work best - i'd guess morning, probably with a view to getting back to 7oaks 2ish latest.

So. anyone interested in a run, if you are ( irrespective of area ) shout out and let's see who is where and work out something that might fit. We can have a sort out mid week........

Noted guys, let's see over the next day or so who else wants to get out and then make a plan.

For anyone reading this across the SKCC patch do shout out. We may well be able to work a route to include you. So pop your name down and we'll see whats what.

The Wedge hasn't been out for a run this year yet, only taxed it this month. If I can find the time to give it a check over before Saturday then I would be happy to see if I can keep up.

Sorry, just been reminded that the other reason we taxed it was to get it MOT'd

I can do it next week but not for Saturday.

Right. In the absence of any other takers let's keep this one simple.
Assuming that we're going to try and meet Neil around 10....at Indulgence...

Meet 07.20 Maidstone services - to get away 7.30, head for Rye, James thinks he may have a new road or two to show us, and then back up Cranbrook 'ish ending up at the Oakdene for about 9.00 for brekkie......
