Drove to work today

Drove the roadster to work this morning as it casual day. Good 50mile run not a hitch, its the longest non stop run i have done in her so far so am pretty happy she made it. going home is going to be fun nice drive down through the country lanes without the sat nav :D

I love it. A casual day normally means taking your tie off but in your case it means so much more :)

topped her up with juice at lunch time. works out that im getting 35mpg if i drive in sensible mode.

35 to the gallon is bl**dy good. By any standard. Interested what you get with the loud pedel pressed into the Axminster?

i reckon 18-19 will find out sunday when i fill it up. not that i really care

the 1600 seems to make a lot of noise but doesn't feel all that fast although i can easily get myself into trouble with mr plod if i wanted to.

biggest problem i have at the min is that the rear springs that gaz supplied with my dampers are 200lb. the book says they should be 250lb even though gaz think they know better. after driving it abit more im starting to think that the book is right and gaz are wrong as the back doesnt feel as tight as the front and stiffening the shock to compensate just makes it unsettled and bumpy.

Glad you got home ok tho mate lol

Something tells me Gaz know what is required for Kit Cars but not necessarily what is required for individual manufactures.... or even individual cars.
