Sunday 14th June the elite group

Postby Matth93 » Sun Jun 14, 2020 4:25 pm

We were doing a short 66 miles edenbridge to ashdown forest, there was half a lotus dealership and 4 sevens. We started off just after the others had left and had lots of good roads. Steve managed to kill some squirrels which I collected one with my back arch ripping the fixings out of it :( . A bit further on we lost Dave as he had developed a misfire. One stretch of road I was chasing after my brother and didn’t see a hump in the road which sent me airborne, landing fairly hard but no damage seems to have been done.
The car park by pooh bridge was empty when we got there but soon seemed to fill up while we was cooking breakfast.
Sorry I didn’t get any pics

Well just to prove there were more cars than Graham's nice new orange Elise........

Here's my Seven with Graham's car, complete with a new dent in the bonnet from some unidentified flying object:

Matt did a great job cooking breakfast on the stove and table he brought. Sorry Matt, I only realised afterwards that you'd taken all the rubbish away too.

And here are the other runners, I wonder whether Matt meant the title to be the Elise group......
Good to see Cobweb the Westfield out on the road again :)
The pollen count must have been off the scale, I had to wash my eyes out by the time I got home too. I think the aeroscreeners suffered worse today.

Great run today, some really great roads and not much traffic. Shame that Matts car was damaged and Dave had a misfire, but I hope both will be in action soon :)

I’m still surprised that the squirrel got you Matt!

He did the squirrel dance in front of and I was in 3rd and accelerating hard - made a hell of a bang. Jason who was behind me didn’t even see it and I don’t think Andrew in the S1 did either

A good run today for sure! Think Matt got the topic title spot on :D
