What a beautiful morning to be out driving a kit car!

Thanks for organising the run Graham, sorry you weren't well enough to make it :( .

It was pretty chilly, but I shouldn't complain with screen and heater. Kev was waiting when I arrived and he didn't have good news about his clutch. It was slipping any time he tried to accelerate.

Matt soon arrived having had a late night, bad traffic and filled with petrol. Good effort :)

Matt was leading most of the run, and set a good pace considering the greasy roads.

We saw a new Aston Vantage and McLaren 720 on the Punnets Town road. They'd chosen to travel the same way as all the historic lorries......bad mistake. We were going the other way much more quickly and getting a free transport show :)

Very little traffic on the actual run until right at the end. Good route G :)

Met Tony H at the Chalet for a nice warm breakfast and drink. Thanks for the coffee Tony :)

All in all a good way to spend a Sunday morning.

Nice chilly run this morning, turned up just before 7, got the timing wrong.

Wasn’t long before duncan and matt turned up.
I took the rear as clutch was slipping quite bad, looks like engine coming out again!
Nice ran, first half, quite a lot of cars about surprising as it was still early.

Had a bit of a moment, Duncan overtook a car going up a hill, by the time I was taken them, the Brow of the hill was getting closer, and my clutch was screaming NO! and the smell wasn’t pleasant ( from the clutch)
Second half was the normal SKCC bumpy muddy track, was still good though.
Thanks for the tea Tony H
Breakfast was good but soon filled up with hot rodders and bikers
Thanks for Organising Graham,
Thanks for the company, Duncan and Matt

Thanks for organising the run today Graham, it’s a shame you couldn’t make it I hope your feeling better soon.
It was a good run, a bit cold and misty in places to start with. The roads were a little slippy with lots of pheasants on them today, I almost got one of them
It was good to get out. Hopefully we get a few more good days before the weather gets too bad this year

nice one guys, i'm paying the price for not doing some summer jobs - in the summer. Running around like crazy trying to tidy the garden etc before the clocks change and need to find time to get the fuel tank back in the car.....
