First steve b hadnt received the itn so sometime after midnight i sent it again...nope not received...email address was incorrect..sent it again..but steve dropped out...
Sorry steve..
At 01-30 message from stevo ..he (needs to do the housework) and jason(wife wouldnt let him out to play) dropped out..
That left just tony h & me....and it was the best run of the year...
Almost...not a lot of traffic..some flat surfaces and some not as tony's rear hit the ground ( his car not his backside)
Very much enjoyed the run.

Thanks Graham for the coffee, my round next time!

Lovely morning for a drive along the coast, and early enough to have virtually no traffic.

I decided against a long m/way slog to Brighton this morning and Newlands is too far west for me. I got up a bit later and took a spin down to Perryhill Orchard tea room in the Ashdown Forest, not far from the caravan place where we meet.

Also took my 12 yo daughter for her first proper drive in the Westy this morning, she said it was like a rollercoaster!

Yes the non-defuser had a scrape on one of the stiffening flanges, so only a light touch, a heavy one would have bent it.

A route so good I reversed almost all of it on the way home & there STILL wasn't much traffic.
