Does anyone fancy meeting for breakfast? It's a bit late for an itn, but I'm thinking about heading up to the American Diner north of Hurst Green for about 9.30.

Well, there's nothing like a dodgy forecast to clear the road of Westfields........sorry I mean cars ;)

I had a great 90 minute drive on the leafy lanes of Sussex taking in part of the Punnets Town road, up to Burwash and onto Stonegate before rejoining the Hurst Green Road at Etchingham for a blast through the bends up the hill, and there was literally no traffic at all. Of course there wasn't a drop of rain either, although the surfaces were damp enough to require a little caution. I do enjoy these autumn runs with the trees changing colour and nice fresh feel to the air but not too cold.

Thanks for joining me for breakfast Mike, good food and a good chat made for a very pleasant morning :)

Hope you had a good run too Graham.

Well done for getting out Dunc, I enjoyed my lay in but I was a bit miffed that the forecast was wrong again - I ended up being dragged to Morrison’s for the weekly shop!!

Well done those of you who got out.
Luckily I was at home this morning as a lorry turned up early with a load of air freight. Had I been on a run it would have been a long wait for the driver. No lay in for me though. :(
