Great write up and images Duncan. Good to see Russ and his machine and total respect to Steve for getting the car back together and making the blat.

Thought the driveshaft bolts had come out again on the way home.. it was the exhaust bracket instead, note to self must stop trying the donuts.. literally and metorphorically. :D
Power.. small nail, fast hammer, Torque.. small nail, big hammer.. I got a big hammer :P

Late call from me as it was dependent on me getting home early and sober enough on Saturday night. Luckily that did happen so it was an early start for me, on the road by 6.

We had an enjoyable jaunt round East Sussex and Kent in the sunshine. Some of the singletrack roads in the route had a distinct Greenwood feel about them :) I’m glad I had an opportunity to share my squealing brakes with everyone, the notorious M1144 pads were on song for the entire run despite having been fitted with a liberal application of this:

Here’s a couple of pics of us at brekkie at the Car Wash Cafe:

Oh and for those at breakfast, here’s the ‘airhorn golf’ reference:

Thanks chaps and see you out soon.

Late call from me too but unlike Russ - no excuses  - 'bout time I got my act together on Sunday mornings.

Nice to get out this morning & catch up with old acquaintances, (sorry Russ didn't recognise you with the 'Old father Time' beard) and new - nice to meet you Steve & well done in making it out.

Good write ups by all - thanks Chris for the route & to all for the usual breakfast pi55 taking!
