What an amusing morning. Tony’s magical mystical tour had us doing laps at one point but even that didn’t detract from a great run out and good breakfast.

After Kenton’s cycle wing bracket and sensor tightening we had an event free drive. Until Kev turned up to meet us for breakfast.....

.....Exhaust bracket, misfire due to a plug out, melted and removed excellerator cable..... have I missed anything? I’m sure he rebuilt the car after we left :D

Good run, thanks Tony and Kenton, Matt and Kev for your company.

Until next time.....

Didn’t make the run but decided to take project Tiger out for a little run to perryhill orchard cafe to meet the others
pushed the car out of the garage and tried to start it, just wouldn’t start, sprayed easystart in to carbs and eventually got it started. Took it up the road and it was running really bad coughing and splattered, spitting and popping but decided to carry on as only 30min away, thought might get better.
Got to Edenbridge caravan sales and the exhaust broke off it’s brackets. So nursed it to the cafe pulled up and left it to cool down while went and had a chat with Matt, Kenton, TonyB and Chris.
Then went and had a look at the car, to work out what problems I had
throttle cables were melted and resting on the exhaust, luckily one still working so chopped the other one out and cable tied it away from exhaust
Luckily I put a rope in the car so tied the exhaust up ( think it was going out with sympathy with Rich’s Pinto) I think Rich would be quite happy with our Bodge
Then found out the HT lead was off one of the plugs so only running on 3 and a lead had fallen off the coil easy fix but still running crap.
The others had to go, Matt stayed behind and had another coffee and then decided to take a ride to his and sort out some of my problems, it was running a lot better away from the cafe then it did going.
Exhaust was blowing and still getting pops and bangs but was ok
Got to Matt’s house and sorted out the exhaust. made some new mounts and colour tuned the carbs, reset up the timing and now sounds and starts on the button. even runs alright, a few more bits to sort out. but be ok for Bromley Pageant next Sunday
thanks to the guys on their input/help at the cafe
Cheers matt for sorting it out at yours

Thanks for organising today’s run I think like the others have said it had most things broken cars, dodgy waypoints, cars stopped just round corners in the middle of the road and a nice breakfast and chat at the end.
Till next time

Thanks for shouting the run Chris, and glad my ITN caused amusement- haven’t a clue what happened but I think it was a corrupt route putting waypoints in the middle of a reservoir!!!

I almost didn’t make this as I got dragged out to a quiz last night and got too easily tempted by the Guiness pump!!

Till next time folks

Thanks Chris for the shout, Shame you let Tony do the ITN
Not sure what was going on but lets just say it was "interesting". Always good to be out on these light summer mornings. Thanks for the good company chaps and see you soon.
Fathers day next week so its unlikely I'll be out.
