Sorry, I'm not going to make it to the cafe in time. Looks like a great morning for a run too, hope you're having a good one.

We did join Mike, and he didn't look too cold I pleased to say :)

Thanks for organising the run Tony, it was good to get out on some great roads. A bit of fog at times made life interesting, and I'm sure it should be warmer than it was this morning near the end of May!

The Udimore road was shut at the level crossing in Rye, Colin and I went north at Broad Oak, while Kenton, Jay and Tony went south. We met up again just after Lydd, and Jay said they hadn't been waiting long, so I suspect our diversion was quicker. I certainly wasn't driving as fast as the Men in Orange :)

No sign of Richard at the Tony stop, we did wait quite a while. Anyway, a quick blast along the military rosd back to Rye and then along the coast for a very welcome coffee and breakfast.

Richard turned up quite a bit later, after a roadside carburettor rebuild. I hope you get it sorted ready for the road trip.

Good to see you all, it was fun

Gtreat get out and about for as Tony reminded me a pre blat blat, so nice and easy was always the intention. The fog was indeed a hindrance, had a fill throttle surprise as I entered the lyd ring followed by fully airborne woop at 60mph as I left it.
Decided to clear out the jets on the carb after the others had left bexhill but still have a few issues to address, but thankfully starting is not one of them now.
Exhaust also decided it wanted to join the party.

Cheers Guys, flying visit. Back for more tinkering  Rear view mirror binned, brand new one fitted, snapped it clean off. Plastic bloody balls!!. Lashed one together using some door mirror parts

Whilst fooling about, found a lack of brake fluid in the front brakes.. don’t know the cause. better now than when on the trip, tearing around the mountains.
