We did join Mike, and he didn't look too cold I pleased to say
Thanks for organising the run Tony, it was good to get out on some great roads. A bit of fog at times made life interesting, and I'm sure it should be warmer than it was this morning near the end of May!
The Udimore road was shut at the level crossing in Rye, Colin and I went north at Broad Oak, while Kenton, Jay and Tony went south. We met up again just after Lydd, and Jay said they hadn't been waiting long, so I suspect our diversion was quicker. I certainly wasn't driving as fast as the Men in Orange
No sign of Richard at the Tony stop, we did wait quite a while. Anyway, a quick blast along the military rosd back to Rye and then along the coast for a very welcome coffee and breakfast.
Richard turned up quite a bit later, after a roadside carburettor rebuild. I hope you get it sorted ready for the road trip.
Good to see you all, it was fun
