I’m hoping next year will be better, having drive shaft issues and having to re shelling my minirod this year put me behind

You are still 12th out of 30 Kev, so pretty good. Having a reliable car makes a big difference. To finish first, first you must finish

I'll see if I can make it then, we're a bit stretched at the moment as we're having to drive to Sidcup to visit my Mum in hospital, hopefully she might be out soon.

Very true, the minirod is getting there no real problems with the new one just trying to upgrade bits , to get some more speed
And better handling / grip

All the best for your mum

Well that was an interesting day!
Heat 1 all started off ok then as I got past 313 and 666 they took each other out and went off across the grass ending up with both going over the rallycross jump and taking off (666 was backwards at this point) then the 2 of them started on each other with Nick car 69 joining in ( he’s now saying to try and protect his boy 313), then Tommy gets out and kicks the window in on 666. So the race was stopped and when they’d cleared the carnage we was all sent off the track. Lydden then said they wouldn’t let ANY Minirods back on track which caused a lot of upset obviously, eventually we talked them into letting the other group out and with a bit more they let the rest out but with the understanding of there was any contact we’d all be loaded up.

Heat 2 ( both groups out together ) it was a really clean race and I really enjoyed it finishing second in our group ( they scored the 2 groups separately to keep the points correct )

Final, again was a really good race I got through most of the pack finishing in 3rd in our group.

So until we know what is happening with Nick that had won the points championship ( it seems he may be banned so get taken out of the points) I have finished 3rd in the points for the year so happy with that. The car has been good all year and finished every race in a fairly good position.
Thanks to our little team for all the help this year and I look forward to next year now.
