We had our last meeting Saturday. The first race for me the track was quite greasy and I struggled but got to 5th (from the back as always).
The rain then started so after changing all the tyres twice as the weather changed I went out on Toyo TR1’s which took a few laps to get the feel of but soon I started picking a few off to finish 4th.
The final I got up to 4th then pushed too hard into a corner and ended up on the grass trying to keep it out of the tyre wall eventually getting back on track about halfway down the straight and in 5th. I caught up 4th again and got round him and started to reel in 3rd but just ran out of laps. So all in it wasn’t a bad day considering I didn’t even have to race as I’d won the championship already

Re: End of season
Yes I’m going to stick with the mini’s next year and see if I can defend my title. Quite a few at the track have also asked me this as every year for the last 3 the winner has then given up, don’t know why
