Cheers for sorting today out Mike and for the lift Colin.
Ruddy hot, quite a lot of lovely cars and kit on show.

Re: Club Stand? @ Kent Kit Car Show July 22nd
It was a pleasure to organise and a thoroughly enjoyable day, thanks in no small part to the great company.
Brief report pour moi.. as it's all been said really..
Sadly I opted for the daily driver as the kit had had enough of the hot weather and the shite in the coolant it wasn't cooling it anymore. Headed off to arrive in plenty of time to happen upon Tony C lurking in a bus stop by the beefeater. Rounded him up and got to breakie just after 7 quickly followed by Duncan, Neil and Jay, not long after, the rest of the gang turned up. Breakfast was ordered and served very efficiently with the waitress remembering everyones order,, impressive.
Steve turned up with his new lady, Emily.. and proceeded to do a bit of damage limitation in the form of avoidance and sit away from the main group.. hey ho, we'll get him later..
Breakfast comes highly recommended, must do it again. Dished out the entry tickets paid for the nosebag and meandered along to the show, with no one getting lost along the way.
Huge thanks to Matt for bringing the much needed shade in the form of the gazebo, which was put up in no time.
A bit more banter then a group dispersal around the show. It was quite the mixed bag with some high quality cars there with a few stand out ones.. for me a couple of chevie pickups and a couple of rat look trucks which are growing on me. A good turnout which made for a nice show.
There was the nice gulf Porsche as photo'd by Kev and a particularly nice chopped moggie with ash frame and supercharged yank motor.
Back to the gazebo and more banter including Nash's efforts to include Emily, as he thought she looked bored.. funniest ever. The questioning included how they met, tinder or grinder?? and was she a smash and dash or keeper.. a diplomatic exit for an ice cream was made..
Overall a really enjoyable way of spending a sunday with like minded peeps, thanks again all. Bloody hot though!!
One of Tony T with his 'I'm gonna shove that camera.. smile' A few others to follow Kev's covered most of them Thanks again all for making it a great day.

Thanks again for organising this Mike
The breakfast was excellent, and the conversation entertained all day. A really good turn out!
I thought I was ridiculously early so it was a nice surprise to find Mike and Tony C already there.Tony S was doing a good job of guiding our drivers into the car park, as it isn't that obvious which way to go, if you haven't been there before.
Kev arrived in style with his seats tied on his Tiger, it looked like something out of the Wacky Racers, I'm glad you managed to sell them.
Here are some photos of the SKCC plot:
Thanks again for bringing the gazebo Matt, it wouldn't have been very pleasant without some shade. Good to see you all, I had a great day. I'm getting used to driving the Seven in a T shirt without my usual thick SKCC jacket, what a great summer

I can’t really add much to what already has been said.
Thanks Mike for organising a cracking day. Loads off different cars to look round , some nice old Fords which I like ,I do like the Anglia’s with the up rated engines.
It was nice to catch up with all of you for some nice banter and general chit chat.
Thanks Matt for the gazebo, a god send, it would have been to hot with out it.
Hope to catch up with you all again soon.

Just for clarity I said Emily was a keeper! I would never be so rude as to suggest anyone was a “smash and dash”! Mike “the beef” (just sayin)
Especially someone who has access to a dephibulator!
