Some good photos Mike, did you recover the original ones from the memory card?
Duncan, philosophical about the shunt, the steering did not cause the accident, lack of skill did. I will say the steering did worried me when I first went out. But you have to race what you have.
I will get the footage and post it up

Yes Ian did get a stop go penalty
He turned of the pit lane limiter off on the white line before the chicane on pit exit and the limit is until the white line after the chicane. He got radar dun at 45 in a 40. There were 3 teams got caught. I did not think it was clear! But I did use the right line but hay ho.
The were more teams getting penalties for track limits as there were some people taking the Michael

A few for the calendar..
(someone else would have said it if I didn't..)
Sharpest pics I took all day.
Looking on the bright side, you didn't have far to go for the ambulance..
That'll do...for now..

On a very serious note, I'd just turned away to get back to the suite, heard the squealing, turned and could see that Paul had become a passenger in what was a pretty fast moving car. The impact against the tyres did look big. Though you don't want anyone to be hurt, its different when you see someone you know have an "incident" I haven't got it in me to click away especially when some one you know is possibly going to arrive at the scene and feel it. It seemed like an age before the car settled down after bouncing off the tyre wall and it was a total relief when Paul got going again.
It's a result when all that's hurt is a little pride, even so, you did yourself proud Paul. To drive at 10/10ths for such long sessions is a big commitment, especially when you have to drive around issues and problems as they come up. (Don't tell Jay I told you, but he's Fubar'd after 15mins )
I'm off now to practice some of these moves on Gran Turismo

My prime is not dented, just the car Clearly I have no pride
You should have taken pictures, I wohave been showing everybody I could bore with them
There are some great pictures on the Fun Cup Facebook page of the chide truly at paddock where 171 rolled. I have stroked to save them. And post them.

We did wonder as the bloke with the black flag was waving it for at least a good 5 laps, until 1 car came in and stopped but he was still there with his black flag waving away, but we couldn’t see the pit board to see what car numbers were up. then eventually another one come in but he carried on waving his black flag until Ian stopped. He must of had arm ache lol

A lot of teams had time penalties and even lap penalties. I felt sorry for one that lost the race due to two penalties.
That said, Ian and I got no track limits violations Clearly not trying hard enough.
