Re: Land's end & Dover to John o' Groats.
I'm looking at this and thinking yes I'm up for this but would want to do the whole way starting at Dover. I've done 800 miles in a day before, Innsbruck to home on the SKCC Mega road trip earlier this year.
Unfortunately that's the weekend were off for the 2018 road trip but i will follow your journey with interest.
Good luck
Kenton

I admire the ambition but, personally, it's the motorway bits I'm not keen on. I realise you have to do that to keep the schedule going but it doesn't really make for a nice drive.
I hope to one day do the whole LEJOG trip but spread over a few days, going non-motorway and making a fun trip out of it.
Just my tuppence - I'm sure others will join in and good luck with it all - I'll look forward to the pics

As it is a relay & set in stages we are hoping to have places of interest at each stage so you dont have to do it all. Stop off at the place of interest & do a nice drive back.

Beefy would need to re mortgage, to do 800 miles, that's about 800 quid !!
I have to add that motorway driving in a small 7, is painful
