So I've settled for "Kev.. Kev.. pop the glasses back on, there's a good chap."

A video of my drive - I was getting quite big-headed about all the admiring looks I was getting and then I realised that might be down to the growling Ultima behind me

Brilliant selection of cars and people! Thank you all for the patients to put up with an excited new person.
Very interesting! No, I don't have a donor car/engine yet.
I was after the AJ30 which is a 3L V6. The one with a number plate come up as a 3.2, I don't know anything about this engine and I can't find anything about it on the internet either. If it is related to the AJ30 then it should fit still, though it was the wrong way round in the X-type to accommodate the 4WD box, so would need a sump/pickup etc from an S-type (minor issue).
Only other thing is that I haven't done my trailer test yet, so I can't collect cars for another few months.

We started to get wet in the queue for the temporary lights in Cowfold so Paul got to witness the "how fast can we put the hood up on a Marlin" challenge
MkII Marlin Roadster with Ford 2.0L Pinto and Type 9 gearbox. Going for the oily rag restoration look

Thanks to Mark for organising. Apologies for being late to Bentley, as David said, our breakfasts were still walking around when the first team were leaving Cowfold....
We were a dozen cars behind you Andy and there was quite a bit of roof envy going on in the traffic jam....
Also thanks to David for the Farnham to Cowfold route.... going through the Hindhead Tunnel with the Ultima roaring past was worth the speedhumps and horse "merde"
