Both James and I had a fantastic trip. I could even say what rain! But then was in a tin top.
Big apologies for getting in the way during 'kit car' photos. But I think it managed to keep up in the mountains. Look forward to seeing what's being planned for next year.
Many thanks,
Gary & James

2018 road trip, i was expecting awesome roads, awesome company and quality bants... i wasnt disappointed (apart being accused of being ginger).
Anyone who hasnt done one of these trips must try and get on one. Superbly organised and you visit many places you will never see. I have some great memories, the area is outstanding and we seeked and destroyed. 2096.3 miles of pure frickin smiles. Thanks Mark for organising, thanks Gary & James for being my support vehicle and carrying all my gear around and thanks to everyone who came and made the week amazing. I have loads of photos and hopefully enough footage for a video so watch this space.

Well i have vertually zero go pro footage to speak off and had to delete most of the videos, pics and movies from the I Pad i had in my glutches for most of the week, so might spare you all my usual video efforts.

As far as the week away is concnered, being one of the people that has been on every one of Marks road trips, this has to be up there with one of the best (although every one has been cracking),agreeing with Phil suggestions every one should try one.
My car in it present guize / condition is more probably suited to weekend blats where niggles can be suffered and as the week went on I had the memory of TGs Jezza, on one of their 3 car challenges saying the bush mechanics were getting sick of constant breakdowns (not that i actaully had any), in my case exhaust and misfire, but fellow tourers were always willing to lend a hand or wise crack.
the social and crack side of these tours is as much part of what make them great as the actual roads and scenery, but i just cannot get enough of them mountain hugging, gorge roads.
Spent this afternoon removing some of the tour stuff from the car and starting to fix me welder that played up on tour
Just a shame we have to wait a year to go again, off to check the cameras to see what might have been caught
