Believe it or not, although I live in Scotland, I haven't driven all that route - at least not as an adult - I vaguely remember some of it as a small child, probably saying "are we there yet" to my dad .

for day 3, so that has been adopted.and duncan

miles stand at 2324.28 according to tyre
(plus a bit of start & finish miles to & from your home)
hours driving stand at 51.92 again tyre's estimate
plus fuel / coffee/ photo stops etc

Yes, getting quite excited. Just sorting out the list of things I'll want for the trip.

How many people have or will have those radios for the trip? (I've been following the topic on radios and am tempted to buy one)

Graham and I have radios, but I haven't tested my set up yet.
