Rallye Artois Lys - w/e of Sept 22/23

If things are almost set in stone then I agree I will go ahead and book the shuttle at the suggested times. Hotels are fairly plentiful over there as you know so I don't thin k there would be a problem on that front.

It's as set in stone as it can be without actually having entered the event.
May as well book the tunnel (I have done it now) as even if you can't go in September, you can easily move the tunnel booking and use it some other time.

Will look at hotels next week.

Plan to stay in Bethune Sat and Sun nights, then do a tour somewhere for Mon and Tue nights. Not sure where yet.

Bruno added a note in his email:
Rallye starts in Saint Venant (between Bethune and Hazebrouck).
The first car will leave at 9:30am, heading for a pitstop at Equirre.
Lunch will be at Agincourt in the "halle médiévale", where grilled pork awaits us.
After 160 kms through Artois, return to Saint Venant between 4:30 and 5:00pm for the awards.
The entry fee is still £ 63 (or 70 €).
Payment can be made by Paypal ([email protected]) or bank transfer.
 
The payment instructions are also on the form (paypal is the easiest way to do it).
Please let me know when you've paid and emailed the form to Bruno by adding a note on the list below. We have a maximum of 20 places available so there is scope for more people to get involved.

David I presume they want a photo for the road book as well as the entry form but no mention. In wet Ireland this week but will do on our return. Great Roads over here would be great in the kits but need good weather gear!
