Would also recommend you take your European Health Insurance Card, too late now if you haven't got one, but if you do want one in the future make sure you get it for free, see http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcare ... ction.aspx

Checklist:
1. Passport
2. V5 registration doc
3. Insurance Certificate
4. Warning Triangle
5. Spare Bulbs
6. Hi Viz Jackets for all people in the car
7. First Aid Kit
8. Headlight deflectors
9. Crossing Reference No. inc Card it was booked on
10. Hotel confirmation doc
11. Driving Licence
12. Travel Insurance
14. Camera
15. Antihistamins
16. Cash Euro's
17. European Health Insurance Card
18. Breathalyser kit

What no first aid kit. What happens when you get a hang nail on a road trip and have no surgical scissors or pain relief for the suffering?
