Most petrol stations have coffee machines, toilets etc - just combine a petrol stop with a coffee stop?

I am currently waiting on a TPS sensor - if it doesn't come in time, I'll be out... :(

Hope you had a good run out lads. Sorry I couldn't make it... Never got the car back together due to being hospitalised on Saturday with ruptured lower back discs (still in) , and been in bed since Thursday.

Well, an interesting run - weather was supposed to be dry but there were continual annoying patches of torrential rain, lasting about a minute at a time; just enough to get the inside of my windscreen soaked, as well as me. When I finally relented and put my roof on, the sun came out and stayed out - until I took my roof off and then the rain came back!

But nice route (thanks Matt) with light traffic initially and a few pretty villages to amble through. Matt almost caught us some venison when a deer crossed in front of him but we got to Cheddar in one piece. Very busy and we stopped at the Gorge:

Road was wet but wasn't actually raining at the time. Carried on to what was supposed to be the lunch stop at a lake (name?) but the queue for chips was huge, so after a short stop, we decided to set off home. The route back was just as good as the way there but, personally, my long-term misfire returned.

We stopped to have a look, Matt wiggled stuff and my misfire vanished! Seriously weird but I think I have wiring issues. I had by this time left the others, expecting to limp home with a misfire but I had an amazing trip back; weirdly the normally hectic A272 was really quiet - its a great road when that happens.

So great day out, almost 300 miles and I was the only breakdown (ish)... thanks Matt for organising and the others for being there. :D
