Rallye des Jonquilles

Postby Matth93 » Fri Jan 17, 2020 4:19 pm

Is anyone else thinking of doing this this year? The entry form is now on their website
http://www.lagrangeauxdamiers.com/2019/ ... -2020.html

I’ll probably do our forms this weekend

Urgh, I've wanted to try this rally for years but it never seems to actually run - is this the first time for a while or have I just managed to miss the application forms every time?

Annoyingly, I'm away that weekend anyway... :(

I think it’s on most years but they reduced the number of cars allowed and we never booked early enough last year

So our plan is to go over on the Saturday 25th April and have a run around for the day heading to a hotel somewhere near the start of the rallye. Then the Sunday will be the rallye all day and then head straight for the tunnel and home after the prize giving at the end of the day. Its usually a good weekend away.

Matt, would have lived to have done this and was only discussing a trip over the other day. Unfortunately it is granddaughters birthday so we are on duty. Keep us posted for future events

I can see that you're in Matt

"07 MK INDY 2004 Matthew H***** UK C3"

I don't know much about this event. Have you done it before, what's the format? Sorry my French is merde and therefore am struggling with their site.

Cheers

Yes I’ve done it before. You get a tulip diagram roadbook to follow at the start and along the route you also have to spot things and make notes of them. There’s usually breakfast (croissants etc) at the start and then stops at a chateau type place for 11ish then a 3 course meal for lunch and then in to the finish where they give out the trophies. So the actual rallye on Sunday takes all day.
