Pyrenees and beyond

Just finished a fab 7 day tour of the Pyrenees,(ferry to Bilbao and then start from there) taking in the best of the passes, peaks, valleys and scenery.
Some amazing riving roads that made the NC500 seem insignificant (and I dont for one moment take away anything from how fab the NC500 is)
No traffic, great surfaced roads and mile after mile of epic corners and places to go
I'd add some pics, if only I knew how!
RECOMMENDED!
Only thing I missed was company in the form of half a dozen more cars with me
Next on the list is either
Scandinavia - The Atlantic Highway and the Norwegian fjords
Or the Transfagarasan Pass Romania
Or maybe even back to the Pyrenees again

Anyone up for it in 2020?

Ashley

I hope you had a great time as there is a plan for the Pyrenees in May 2020
ferry to Spain there and back then 8 days of driving.
all in the planning stage.
however, if anyone is interested pop your name down here to be kept in the loop.

sounds like a good trip Ashley, but you're right, having other cars/pals around does add to the adventure

I would like to do a trip to Spain but may have trouble to commit until I know the race season next year. :D :D I am going to get the Westfield back on the road for next year so it needs a run

I'd be keen to go again
So many high points (literally)
Port de Larrau, Col de Tourmalet, Cirque de Gavarnie, Col D'Aspin, the cable car at Pic de Midi, the open hot spring spa at Loudenvielle, the valley rush down from Vielha
Would love to go back
