Re: Remembrance Day Run / Meet 10th Nov
update;
wreath arrived...so all good to go
For the guys that have kits and want to do a run, can I leave you to post up/organize that?
With the idea that we get to the Chalet Cafe at Cowfold for 9.15/9.30 ) enough time to eat to be away from there a shade after 10.00.
That should get us to the Memorial for 10.40.....(if anyone has that last route from previous years suggest we use that). I may go straight to the Chalet as trying to persuade Mrs to come along and that allow me a slightly later start.
For those that wish to donate but who are not doing the run, send me a PM and i'll give you the details. Runners can pass on cash on the day.
Wreath ordered, will be here in time!

Re: Remembrance Day Run / Meet 10th Nov
Good to see everyone this morning. The locals always seem to appreciate our presence and it is good to get a run out as well as attend a remembrance service. It was good the sun came out in time too.
Thanks for organising the wreath Mark, good to see you . Oh and the after service problem solving and entertainment was good too

Re: Remembrance Day Run / Meet 10th Nov
Thanks for Organising Mark
Great run out Thanks Matt
Met Matt, Rich, TonyS, and Duncan at Edenbridge caravan centre
Run out To the Chalet cafe, which is always a good run with usual muddy wet roads, with a good amount of twist and turns
Half way
Had to get Duncan’s car in, as he was doing the run
Just getting wrapped up to leave and a car Full of women pulled up next to me, then the window came down. And a voice said I bet your cold in that! Oh and you’ve got a spare seat! BIG double wink
But the great big bull nose ring put me off a bit
Chalet Cafe
Where we met Mark, TonyC, and Matt’s Mum and Dad.
Had a warm up and a nice breakfast, then off for the Remembrance Service
Some of us didn’t quite get there, before having to do some road side repairs
Wasn’t long and back on our way
Service had already started by the time we rocked up.
Service was short and sweet and out of time. it was all over by 10:59, No 2 minute silence at 11:00 then
Had a bit of a chat, then we was off!
Make your own conclusions
Good run and lots of Banta, nice weather. overall a good morning.
Thanks again

First of all thanks to Mark for organising the wreath sorry I was a little bit late but it is a ford lol.
Thank you Kevin for staying to help and of course take pictures. Had a great day plenty of twists and turns along the way, great to see everyone again and have the usual banter.

Thanks Mark for organising the wreath and well done Tony for volunteering to lay it at the service . It was a nice morning to get out for a run before breakfast. Sorry I didn’t stop Tony I didn’t realise you had a problem.
