Re: French rally
Ah man, I just want to go so I can put 'Neil H' in the list
Sadly, the wife isn't keen (never is TBH) and none of my friends are car people (and you need a navigator, right?). I'll try them anyway but I'm not hopeful...

It has been done without a navigator, you tend to follow the other cars & just use the road book to check their turns. With an SKCC radio you could tag onto one of us & have one navigator for two cars?

Re: French rally
To be honest, the navigation (or lack of) is the fun part and I'd rather not follow anyone
However, amazingly, my 15-year old son has looked up from his Xbox long enough to say he will come, which is very unexpected. I do need to persuade the wife that him taking a weekend out 2 weeks before his GCSEs start is not a bad idea but I might be in...woohooo...

I’m sure he’ll do fine I had one of my daughters navigate for me when she was 13 and done really well, this year I’m planning on taking my other daughter (14) to navigate she’s done similar things with us in the mini before with no problems

Surely he's doing geography??
On the Saturday we usually visit some world war two relic, so that's history covered too.

Any idea how we get a cheque in Euros to him? We must've done it in the past, but I don't remember.
