I've been going to work all week in my kit and today, leaving work, it wouldn't start!
. Electrical problem, no starter motor.
Started eventually because I shouted at it (honestly, I did nothing else) - so bodes well for 3am tomorrow
AA card first thing I've packed

Gawd, I may be the weak link this weekend - apologies in advance
Went to fill up tonight and car wouldn't start! Only good thing is I think I've tracked it down to the main plug between ignition and loom, so hopefully any issues just need that wiggling (I did get it going that way) . Bad news is, while testing things, I pulled the wire out of the terminal on the HP fuel pump. I haven't got a spare ring terminal the right size, so the wire is held in with gaffer tape - should last the 1000 miles of the trip
Can't believe this is happening hours before I leave...

hah, after all that, car started at the first turn of the key AND I am the first person at the meet point! Forgot how quick you can travel when there is no traffic.

Just driven back from Cardiff, wow it's wet out there.
Hope you're all ok and not too soggy
