ok good people ,
its that time again to remember those who gave their today for our tomorrows.
So for the newbies...we do a group meet & run to pay our respects at a Memorial nr Pulborough in west sussex.
We meet at the Chalet Cafe at Cowfold(rh13 8du) around 9 'ish ( normally there's 1-2 runs arranged from the East/West to get there) and we have a healthy full english before leaving at 10.00 for a convoy type run to the Memorial, aiming to get there for around 10.40 ( quietly )...we pay our respects, lay a wreath and go on our merry way.
It's not compulsory, but we suggest that attendees ( or even those that can't make it) drop a donation of a fiver towards the cost of the wreath
anyone else need to do a bank transfer ????
((if you can't attend but would like to donate please message me {graham b}for payment details))
....the surplus goes to Help For Heroes. Please put your name down for the run / donation

Graham,
Thanks again for organising us today. Very poignant as ever.

Re: remembrance 11th november 2018
we gave £17 for the wreath but topped that up to £30 for the poppy appeal.
which means we have so far raised £75 for help for heroes ,
i shall call help for heroes on wednesday to make the donation,
so anyone who would like to donate has a little more time to do so.
please PM me for payment details

Well done Graham, very well organised
And well done to Neil H for laying the wreath, nicely done.
It was good to see a much bigger turn out of locals than normal, and we did did the right thing arriving in good time.
Doing this every year is one of the things that makes me proud to be member of this club. Thanks to all those who donated

Re: remembrance 11th november 2018
An enjoyable run out (once the rain stopped) and I wish I'd had time to stop for some pictures because the autumn colours are amazing. Only one decent pic to prove it happened:
Need to give the car a wash, i seem to have half of Sussex smeared over it...
