Looking forward to this. Weather looks to be kind with rain arriving only early on Saturday.

I'd actually prefer a bit of rain - it's wet roads I need help with (as I found out in France!)...

It was proper soggy last year. I’m looking forward to a different experience. Can’t wait.

Wow another great day and get together.
Weather was amazing despite the foggy start.
Car ran great for a change despite lack of top end speed.
Can’t wait for the next one.
I did win one thing today, max decibel at 111.

Thanks for organising today mark it was yet another great day.
I managed to do faster speeds than I’ve ever done previously on the high speed bend after a little help from the instructor where on one run HE was steering and I was just in charge of the pedals
I also managed to do my fastest times on the full course in the afternoon. I didn’t take any photos but should have some video which I’ll sort out in the next few days

Thanks Mark, another great day out with SKCC
It was a bit chilly and foggy heading north from Eastbourne at 5.40 AM. We came up behind Mark's convoy near the Swanley roundabout, I tried the radio, but no reply. The M25 appeared to be coming to a halt at the Southend road juntion, so I headed onto the minor roads and gave a wave.
Arrived a little before 8, moved my seat forwards so my daughter Lizzy could drive round to a nice breakfast at "Squadron Cafe". Thanks for joining us Richard, the offer to try my welder is still open.
Lizzy drove all morning. Initially hampered by my advice she still progressed from wanting to turn into the corner at about 40mph to entering at over sixty and managing to control oversteer on two attempts and coped well with spinning too. The instructor then took her round for a few runs and her confidence in handling the car improved dramatically. Meanwhile, Matt gave me an entertaining run while clutching hold of my hat, a water bottle and my glasses
Great lunch from the bus, but it's lucky some went to the pub, as the guy serving insisted on doing each burger individually and was so slow!
Lizzy had fun on a couple of afternoon runs, and learned the advantage of heel and toe when she locked the back wheels changing into second (didn't spin though ). We stopped a little early to take a few photos, but they aren't great:

I didn't know what you guys were on about, until today.
But this is NOT a Spitfire!
