Stickers??

Ian, there was vague talk of stickers a few weeks back. The issue potentially aside from anything else is the cost. Normally we get the stickers from Hollographics - and each time we have a new design taht means new artwork and coupled with mim order value etc it tots up quickly. I just called them to see is there's a chance of a/ getting stickers by friday b/ amending the existing wording on the 'club' sticker ( havent worked out what wowridng would be changed/amended) and the cost etc.
the answer is yes they can dispatch Thurs which would mean i'd get them Friday ( special delivery) and teh cost would equate to £60 ( i'll sort the vat)...
so in reality given that some folks are 'anti stickers' - is there really enough interest to make it worthwhile?
as a one off i dont mind paying a tenner or so ( if there's 5 of us that £12 each which is i guess acceptable for me)....beyond that i'll pass.......

right the sticker has to be simple and has to be based on the existing club sticker...my suggestion is:
Take out the strap line ' fun isnt a straight line' and replace with LEGEND and a smilie or Lands End Legend and a smilie.
around the 2 sides of the 'diamond' starting top left: Lands top right End bottom left - brekkie bottom right run ( or club).

could put mileage - say 600 ie/ 600 wih the word miles under it alongside the arrow. it might make it a bit fussy but perhaps nice to shwo people that we dont live around the corner....poetic license for those that are meeting us halfway there or live a tad closer than Neil or I.....

oh - the LEGEND bit as an acronymn - i wouldnt bother, i dont think there's anythiung that works and space on teh sticker limited.....

thoughts. discuss. but remember i'll have to order these 1st thing tomorrow so the less contentious the better as long as everyone is happy (ish).....oh and if we dont date them then worst case we'll use them another time if this Sat is crap weather wise....
