Hello people I have bought myself a unfinished project but looking at it the chassis looks like it's not home built is there anyway I can tell if it is which one it is?
It looks huge in width!

no idea, if its 'that' big, then a contender would a Luego Viento - where's Mike/Kenton, they have them, they might recognize the chassis layout?

Not a Viento I'm afraid, box section where some tubes should be. No engine mount plates on chassis either.

Looks like it was for a larger engine/V8 if its not Luego could it be a Dax Rush?

Still no idea what it is but some of it looks home made, seems strange not to have the wishbones powder coated or painted at all if it had been sold by a manufactor.
How wide is it across the other edges of the cockpit area, on locostbuilders, (where you might gain some more help ), certain people redid the " book" chassis 4 inches wider and changed the beam axle to independent.

The funny thing is after looking into it today the fella mentioned dax and my wishbones look the same as the dax they are chrome plated front and rear!

Looks like this guessing it's a bitsa but the frame is very well made indeed all the welding is bang on so I'm happy
