ht leads

Postby Loonyspoons & son » Thu Nov 14, 2013 8:12 pm

Hi all

Has anyone any suggestion for my Tiger Cat E1

I have a 2.0l Pinto lump and I have a problem with the HT leads I bought for it

The Lead between the distributor and coil is about 30cm too short

Can anyone advise me of the relevant set I need to buy

Oh and anyone know the Spark plug clearances off their head

Many thanks

Move the coil closer to the engine?

The plug gap off my head would be no use - I have a Zetec (sorry- I'm not helping am I?)

Pinto plugs are about 25thou from memory, I have a Sierra Haynes-book-of-lies if you need it looked up.

2 options...

Move the coil closer to the disi, obviously the wiring would have to be altered, or buy a longer coil lead from burtons...
