Re: Bleak
A fair amount of alternative thinking coming from the B33fy school of photography this year. Everyone else has gone for the inhospitable landscape interpretation. Very SKCC .

Thanks Linda can't take the credit for the alternative view on Bleak, inspiration came from the earlier car crash post. Thanks for being so complimentary about my photo's I'm by no means an expert, just see it as a challenge to get reasonable photo's from a cheap compact camera. I see it as a numbers game as well the more you take the higher the chance of a decent shot. It also helps with the hints and tips, to have a friend and nephew who are professional photograhers. Oh and a bored son as well...
There's some excellent images knocking about this year for the competion, the standard is extremely high. some stand outs for me are Leegavs silohouette images of his car and some of the Scottish and Alps shots, particulary Dick sitting in his car with the mountain backdrop and Ash's image of his car, road and the tunnel entrance.
Really looking forward to the photo competition voting, the calendar is going to be a cracker regardless of the winners.
