The time has come to sell my Quantum Xtreme, but other distractions and lockdown has slowed me down.
2003 build, 3 owners plus me, Pinto 2.0 with twin 40DOCE carbs. Was tested at 125bhp. Sunrise yellow, tidy, rewired, LED lighting all round, 90psi oil pressure. Davis-Craig electric water pump.
Under 9k miles. I've had it since 2014.
New wheels & tyres 2 years ago (so perfect). In my time converted to Carbs, new distributor, electronic speedometer, starter motor, alternator, fuel pump (for Carbs), even a "heartbeat" start button. Starts first time.
There is a weather kit but not a good one.
£5k to a good home, MOT being hopefully done tomorrow. Running smoothly and nicely tidied.

good and I hope it sells... a great handling car. I had one with a 1.6 Zetec until some drove into to me on the front side quarter and totaled it!

Delighted to say MOT now passed, 8741 miles on the clock. There are doors, two, so I'll update the pictures when the rain stops.

Pictures this time with the doors (and the "Bad Banana" emblem!), MOT passed.

Car is in very good condition for 17 years old. The Gel coat is good but there is the odd pot mark here and there, and a scuff rear nearside that would probably polish out. Bit of exhaust cement on the exhaust and stainless steel body that I will try to gently remove.

Problems: fuel filler pipe leaks when the tank is very full and turning right too fast...needs a new one. Rear carb a little stiff on the throttle spindle.

Other than that, drives nicely and did a return trip to the Airport this week (about 60 miles) without a hitch, including a 5am start that was a little nippy.

£5k to a good home, I'll put it on Ebay for a little more than that, now is the time, of course.
