Hi all, Am after a Ford X/flow 711M 6015 BA bare block, it does't matter if it has a hole in the side or is wrecked either, although i don't want to sacrifice a good usable engine either.

Re: Damaged/wrecked/blown X/flow block
Does anyone have any contacts they can give me who might have an old 1600 engine buried at the back of their garage?
Or any ideas where i might be able to get one from away from here ?
Am very close to getting my car IVA'd, hence why I'm asking for a bare engine lump

Sorry, I can't think of anywhere obvious. All the cars they came in are worth money now.
You could try asking on one if the kitcar Facebook groups in case someone with a kit replaced theirs with a Zetec.

Hi guys, I did ask Steve as I know him well, but he didn't still have his car when i got mine back.
I'm now thinking of getting an age related stamp code stamped on the engine as the donor was a 77 plate so i could put that on anyway I think and only two numbers are still visible where they should be before the block was skimmed previously?

Hi Scotty,
I don't want a runner, as i don't want to waste and scrap a good engine just for what i need it for, but thanks anyway.
