Re: Sierra Diff 3.92 lsd sid viscous
My car has got push in shafts with drum brakes on the rear can I just change the shafts over or will I have to upgrade the whole back end?

The minimum would be bolt on shafts with matching stub axles. Not sure of the hubs are the same. One option could be new hubs as well with Sierra discs and brake callipers.
The other option could be a pair of “hybrid” shafts.

So you want to keep the drums? When I changed from a 3.62 open push in diff to a 3.92 viscous LSD with bolt on shafts I just cut the disc flanges off the bearing carriers and carried on with my 10 inch drums.
