2007 road legal Fisher Fury for Sale
Ive owned this car for many years and spent a fortune on it, to make it both powerful and easy to drive. ive used it as a track day car and road car. Im now 63 years old and have decided its time to move to a tin top.
The engine is a fully balanced and forged Z20LET [VX 220 turbo] producing 277 bhp and 295 lbs/ft in its high power setting [ 1.2 bar] with standard cams and turbo which gives it a completely linear power delivery. Its fitted with a Pace dry sump, Caterham triple bypass radiator and a bespoke water cooled intercooler and an Omex 600 ecu.
The hydraulic clutch is the organic heavy duty one for the vx 220 turbo, and has a very light pedal. The brakes are Will wood 6 pots on the front and 4 pots on the back with non vented discs and a Caterham master cylinder. Also has hydraulic brake bias control.
The gearbox is the heaviest duty BGH type 9 with extra upgraded bits, cant remember what, but easy to find out.
English axle 3.54 to 1 with Quaife diff. Alloy coil overs all round and it was corner weighted for 80 kgs but might need re, doing.
A new body was put on the car a few years ago by Steve Hughes at Fisher sport cars, and painted BRG with a yellow stripe. Black powder coated minilites with Toyo 888 R's. Also comes with a set of Dunlop slicks on RS 2000 alloys.
Loads of other bits and pieces done to this car but too much to list here.
Im selling this car for £9995. It really is a bargain for somebody, with Caterham R500 performance for a quarter of the price. Can send photos to anyone who is interested.
