I see the track sessions are on-sale now:
https://castlecombecircuit.co.uk/shows/ ... 25/6/2016/

I thought it was £20 last year in advance and £35 on the day. Is £30 this year in advance. Not sure I'm going to bother. If you do book, I'd advise to stick to the kit only sessions, otherwise you'll end up like I did with the tw@ts in their Seats trying to overtake you through the chicanes.

I also see there is a £12 admission fee. We didn't pay last year. Is that because Adam organised us a club pitch?

That's annoying :x

I saw something not so long ago saying £20 for advance sessions but it does indeed look like they've put it up to £30. So it's equivalent to £120/hour which isn't great value when you consider the cost of a full day session at a normal track day.

That's got on my tits that has

To be honest I could not see how they made money last year?

Also we got tickets in the post and had to sign up as SKCC. I forgot my ticket and had to show them a picture of it on my phone and got in   (head office can be very useful :D ).

As for track time, I will wait and see on the day. Having a look how busy it is and the standard do driving makes sense from my point of view.

I thought the kit only sessions last year were really well behaved, everyone was very respectful. I would like to pre-book a few of those but slyly increasing the price by 50% got my back up.

Hi all,

Long time no posts from me... apologies, seem to spend all my time working these days!

If you can give me an idea of numbers, I'll reserve the SKCC a club pitch. That will mean you can get free entry, but you'll need a pass. If someone wants to collect the passes from the CKC stand at Stoneleigh (Hall 2) and then distribute them to everyone who wants one between now and the show, that would be ace.

With a club pitch booked, you can then get the £20 track sessions as opposed to the more-obviously-advertised £30 sessions. That's how you will have done it last year. You need to use the club booking form when booking track sessions, which makes it look like you need to make a group booking, but you can book individually for £20, as long as Castle Combe know which club you are from when you are booked.

Hope that's clear, but I'll keep an eye on this thread and answer any other questions!

Cheers,
Adam.
