no we don't have any designated pubs/venues, and what you're doing/suggesting is quite right ( picking a venue that's accessible to those from Medway/twells/slondon Etc.
Just pop a date or two up and see who's onboard. Have used the Moat for the start of a few runs so it should be familiar enough...
