DC3 (or more likely a civilianised C47 :ugeek: ) - America? Schipol has runway 24-06, but the mountains in the background would tend to rule that out :D

Spot on guys. The old airport down town we built in WWII. Now replaced by the NATO one our American friends built at Keflavik 50km away. Today was absolutely stunning, visibility perfect and water as calm as a mill pond. THE day of the year to be off work with a camera exploring. Sadly not the case for me. These guys have had a terrible year for weather, with us receiving the benefit, so nice to enjoy a stolen late summer's day.

Had a few days in Reykjavik in February a couple of years ago - fantastic place in the winter, wifey's wanted to go in the summer ever since.

Have you had a chance to visit the penis museum? (no, neither did we). There's a beach close to Reykjavik where they actually heat the sea!

No museums yet. I've been to the thermal beach, but was not packing Speedos so had to give it a miss.

How about heating the roads! With water previously used to heat the houses.
