Your getting good at these motion pics. Is it any easier with the new lense??

Thanks Jay, quicker focus and longer reach helps. Honed the camera settings as well. Lots of reading and looking at the metadata of similar shots has also helped, though practice is the key..

A couple of more "static" shots below, which show the lens quality to its best imo.

Quite like these shots, posted a couple previously.. really slow shutter speed, a bit extreme on the motion and hard to keep the car sharp, though like the backgrounds it creates. They were taken standing at the back of South Bank looking across to the Desiree Wilson stand.

Thanks Dick, appreciated. A bit more panning practice on the way home today.. This fooker was doing 140mph, quite pleased with it as I caught it just before the 50km marker as intended, could have done with being slightly higher in the composition, though can't have it always. :lol:
