there arent many musicians/singers out there that truly stand the test of time....
Eltons voice is not what it was, 'DC, well even before Johnson left and Malcolm died weren't quite as hot as they were 20 years back....you get the point.

But this guy....judge for yourself.....30yrs or so after the original came out....and what a frigging great tune.

Not planning on it Steve. Conflicting feedback on it, critics say shite, some that have seen it say brilliant. I’ll wait for the DVD.

like Mike heard conflicting reports, mostly not that good...things that swing it for me as a 'no go' are that it seems that they skate over a number of topics, and that it really just covers up til the fabled live aid gig....

on a sep note, if anyone likes motown music, the theatre show up in london is awesome (imho), not a musical review but it's story, and that of Berry Gordy and the acts. Shows what a few $ and a bit of faith could achieve back them music wise.
