I thought I'd add a touch of intelect to proceedings by introducing a weekly debate question.

Rules are:

1. Anyone can post a view and no-one is wrong.
2. Keep it clean and polite. but feel free to show your strength of feeling.
3. the rest we'll make up as we go along.

So this weeks debate is:

"The Unions Created Thatcherism"...........

nothing like keeping it simple eh!

Right. No they contributed a sizeable chunk towards the expression that has become 'Thatcherism'. Then of course it depends on what ones views are on the meaning of that expression. I take it to mean running ( no, no typo i didnt mean 'ruin' ) the country within its means as far as possible.
