Thanks Mark, a favourite of mine. Camera is definitely a game changer on the wildlife stuff. Not my usual subject but the camera makes it a lot easier to get these shots. Looking forward to some serious motorsport and rugby photography and seeing what I can do with it as an enthusiastic amateur. A couple from yesterday, first go using a RF100-500 lens, with a bit of cropping on the head and jackdaw shots.

Extremely pleased with the camera, unbelievable bit of kit with the autofocus working it’s black magic. Shouldn’t be long before I can snap some motorsport.. In the meantime a couple from Haysden

They are some great photos Mike, that new camera is certainly bringing out the best in you. I am looking forward to seeing your set up.

Thanks Colin for the kind compliments.

Current progress on the bedroom.. plastered and nearly ready for second fixing, just gotta make good a few bits of plasterboard. Gonna have a go at building some bespoke built in wardrobes including shaker style doors. Might also make an integrated cabinet with a TV lift on the old fireplace.

A “before and current” shots below.

Rooms getting there, wardrobes in bar the doors trim and painting. Fitting a tv lift in the middle so the mirror won’t be obscured when needed. Got a great deal on a 2020 top spec oled. Great clearance offers out there to make way for the 2021 models.

Starting to get to grips with the camera, had a fantastic time at Goodwood. Sadly can’t put too many images up as I’m trying to sell them on my website. Though here’s a couple of favourites.

A few shots from the British GT meet over the weekend. The usual typical shots looking towards Paddock from Druids, though the quality is there imo

Some great shots there, nice short DoF on the ones coming over the rise, esp the red Merc. Also like the panning shot of the Aston.

Thanks Chris, finally getting used to the new camera. I tend just to let the camera do its thing and just adjust the shutter as required for sports stuff. When I try to be clever that’s when it goes wrong!

Bedroom nearly done been a bit slow on this room. Wardrobes were a bit tricky. Two coats of paint left to do on the woodwork. One coat on the walls. Radiator turning up today, cast iron replica as fitted in the lounge. Made the wardrobe doors, they all need painting and hanging, sort the drawer fronts out, then finding a carpet.

Mike the photos are brilliant as normal now, so very crystal clear and the colours are so vibrant.

The man cave looks to be coming along very nicely, you certainly are making a great job of it, it will look very nice once finished.
