nice one Mike!
Whats the plan for insulation - 'ye olde rigid board' or another cunning plan?

I might just leave an air gap on the outside, so it’ll be OSB onto the joists, then wrapped in tyvek with roofing batterns over the top then the weather board.

I wasn’t going to bother insulating any further for now, maybe if needed at a later date I might throw some rockwool into the walls and clad with ply or something.

Thanks Kev, I did think about doing a time lapse, but it would just have James running about and me sitting down.. :D

Liking the design, looks a touch like something the Walton's would approve of :)

Slow progress today, though got the biggest side built in situ. Had John Boy.. Sorry.. James, :D helping with the taller bits as he was less likely to fall through the old shed roof. Running out of wood, enough for some final framing infills and that’s about it.

Very impressive Mike! That's looking more 'barn' to me than 'shed' :D
Is there anything particular you want to do/put in there, or is it just to get a bit of extra space?

Thanks Steve. The plan is to declutter the home office and then clear the house out a bit as we want to do a bit of remodelling, nothing too tricky remove a few walls and do a few new ceilings and fit a new kitchen. We renovated the house about 20 years ago so it’s overdue a refresh, the barn will make it a bit easier to move all the shite around and keep the house decluttered if we decide to sell.
