Just seen a great film :)

Postby DJ. » Sun Dec 01, 2019 8:59 pm

I don't often bother to visit the cinema these days, particularly at £11 a head! However, we've just come back from seeing 'Knives Out' and it was brilliant :)

The cast were really good, and the plot was gripping right to the end with some fun twists and humour. I won't say any more, but if you enjoy a good 'who dunnit?' I would definitely recommend it.

Oh, good timing Duncan. I saw the trailers for it and was wondering if it was worth a watch?

Good shout Duncan, thanks.

I went to the cinema last week to see Frozen 2. I would recommend that too if you have a 3 year old Princess to take   8-)

Having said that, it was the best cinema I have ever been to. It was Cineopolis. They had waiter service to your chair and they served cocktails, brunch (proper food and draft beer). Unfortunately we had booked the 9am showing and had breakfast before we left for the cinema.

More pleasure today too. Disney Animal Kingdom :?

Am I the only only one who thought... This was going to be the Le Manns film?
:)

Not seen knives out.

Robert.

On the same theme, went and saw The Gentlemen last week. The new Guy Richie film. What a great movie.

Highly recommend it.

1917 well worth watching too, a few sequences seemed a touch symbolic rather than realistic, but definitely worth seeing.
