Richard brought some of his handy work to the Lions tour yesterday, I must say its bloody good. One of the pieces he had actually hit a few times with a hammer and all it had done was dent the metal, the powder coat hadn't cracked or ripple at all, it just looked like it had a dent in it.
Rich, I think you could be busy this winter !!!! (new job on the horizon ??)

Part 7
https://youtu.be/B2LwRMUQA5YI have actually powder coated the upper and lower wishbones in the fine texture finish and already learned a valuable lesson as one has come out more like bed liner due to me having it too hot and melted straight away me thinks.
I have worked out by calcs the cfm of my compressor is only 6.5 and needs to be 10 plus so am lining up a machine mart one.
Have a couple of improvements lined up still for the oven, watch this space.

Arrived last night for a Mini break away in Portugal, time to recharge before tackling some more work.
I have new powders from electrostatic and also Eastwood.
With the DIY grit blaster to clean the bits and a new compressor to get soon

Well been chilling out this week in Portugal passing the time by checking out loads of U Tube videos on required mods to sand blasting cabinets, ideas for powder coatings etc so keen to get back into it after just a few hrs kip I used the DIY sand blaster to finish off the cleaning of one bottom wishbones that had come out wrong and wanting to practice PC loads more to refine my art I decide to clean off the areas of the pedal box covers and brackets that I had not been able to get to with other devises.
I did a video to demonstrate the DIY unit in use inside my sand blaster cabinet but my I Phone refuses to share, so a few pics of before and after but really pleased over all, have one contamination issue but as they are under bonnet panels not to bothered at the moment.
Got the new and mixed other colours from Eastwood for the powder coating, can see the difference between the old and new powder from same supplier when it is in the tub so will keep the old for unseen areas as seen to affect the quality of the sprayed powder and hence the finished items.
will load if it lets me
