New Job

Postby SJLB » Mon Jun 10, 2019 8:22 pm

Well after working for the same company for 22 years I found myself out of a job on 22 May, along with the other 250 staff that the printing company employed. I saw it coming as the business struggled through the last 12 months or so, but it left me worried as many of my skills are geared around the niche market we were in - or so I thought! Today I landed a senior role in a different sector on a lot more money. It just shows, sometimes we need a push to move out of our comfort zone and see what we can really do. Now I just need to deliver the dream I've sold them :o

Awesome, well done. Maybe a new chapter is a blessing in disguise. Good luck.

Well done mate - I've been made redundant 3 times and always ended up worse off but hey, still struggling on ;)
