not sure how the heck i stumbled on this....a model of the Spruce Goose...
love the way that the operator had it landing and taking off...

The ‘jumps’ seemed okay but on the first real take off it looked really nose heavy and I thought it was going to do a front flip :lol:

I think he opened the throttles too quickly, all the drag is at the bottom & all the thrust at the top, in the later take-offs he opens the throttles far more gradually as the wing lifts the hull out of the water & the drag reduces.

It is pretty cool though :D
