Wow, mine did the same thing midweek! Same thing, I haven't updated it ever. What a pain!

Good timing on the post Duncan as I was thinking new TT needed.

Guess what I'm doing next week.

Update the software on your device from the TomTom HOME app Rich.

I'm just doing mine now.

I tried to update both of my tt ones, and neither would accept the update, as not supported anymore, but not sure if there working properly until I go for a drive

Terrific, apart from my locked down work PC the only other workable pc I own is running XP and I doubt will load TT Home so I might need to find someone to update it for me :(

I had to borrow my daughter's laptop!

I can confirm that the Tomtom home update has fixed my XL version 1. It worked perfectly this morning :)

Now I £200 to spend on something else ;)

bloody hell, what a faff...trying to 'rescue' 1 device which has somehow stopped working with a 'cannot use this map' warning. Looks like i may be on 'the bay' shortly looking for another xxl to replace that one, unless i get lucky in reformatting it!
2 others done ok....

Well from what i gather my 2013 TT is too old to get supported so there is no fix for it.
Not paid much attention to these models over the past few years, so what I can get that does itn out the box and does not need any messing with.
