Couldn't be arsed to run the gauntlet today, so ponced about indoors, trying to grab some shots to get into the xmas spirit.

New toy, weapon of choice for motorsports and general sports photography. An extra 160mm reach, should get me right in with the action.. looking forward to getting some decent motorsports and kit related shots next year.
The monthly photo comp could do with being on track again in prep for the 2020 calendar, hoping for some good shots.

We'll have no chance competing with that sort of camera lens

Still gotta work out how to use it.. a fast car is no good if you don’t know how to drive it
For me Duncan, the competition is about rewarding peoples efforts regardless of equipment and ability, if someone has taken the time and made the effort using a box brownie and it’s a well thought through shot, and not a bad effort for a box brownie, that wins over the same old shot with a good lens.

had a go at the Xmas Dec's theme earlier.....without rearranging the caboodle not a chance of a good arty shot. Dec's a bit sparse this year with Mrs being poorly.....
Totally agree with the sentiment about the monthly photo comp Mike.....its about taking part, making the effort and so on, not about the purest shot.

I feel the competition heating up already
I did manage to get a photo into next years Lotus Seven Club calendar, so that made up for the lack of an SKCC one.
