A quick update.

Got the temporary access done. Completed a few remedial jobs on the site and lodge to make things more bearable. Sorted lighting in the shed. Now fixing a few holes in the roof. Not been out much with the camera though snapped a rugby match, Kelso Ladies. Lots of sunsets going on. Snapped one last night, straight from Mars. Got another Architect on board so hopefully we’ll get the planning amendments in fairly quickly.

A quick update.

Had a change of architects, nothing major old one was mmm… old. Plans went in on 8th December so will start chasing from 8th February. Building regs after planning so we’ll be lucky if we start building in April. Still discussing the options for the building plot, possibly two houses or a large 1 1/2 storey house, with the living area upstairs to take advantage of the views and sunsets over the park.

Continuing to put together a couple of shepherd huts for site accommodation. Work is slowly progressing. Got caught in the storm, a lot of damage around and about. Had a short break down sowf xmas. Back to it again. Some images.

A bit of image rotation would help Mike!

Don’t know why they do it. They were fine on the iPad. (Stands back and awaits iPad detractors..)

Gives us something to do while awaiting planning, can’t touch the site in case of a site visit by planning. Had a lot of interest in them so should be able to sell on for good money once we are done with them. Just sorted the kitchenette design today, image below along with current state of play.

James is enjoying it surprisingly. Not into builder banter, Shanter or talking bollocks, no bad thing really, just gets on with it. Though he just has to suffer Absolute 80’s full blast for a week if he fooks up.
